Louie the Lion

Assignment A1: Banner for Louie the Lion!

Louie the Lion is primarily based on the Lion Emblum of the English Premier League and the Three Lions Crest of the England National Teams. The crest on the right is inspired by the recent multicolored Saint George's Cross on the back of the England National Team Kit for the 2024 Euros.

Assignment A2: A Journey in the Dark!

In this assignment, the character can move between different maps created by different students in the class. Specific to my character, the arms follow the position of the cursor (which is difficult to show in a screenshot since mac does not capture the mouse). Additionally, holding the mouse down will turn the arms red. In the images above, the character can be seen in the inital city it spawned in (top image) and in my city (bottom image).

Assignment A3: Journey to the Cross-roads

In this assignment, a car to transport the vehicle is created. The car moves around the scene with a rotating teapot, kind of like a really horrible car seat. Throughout the program, the camera will stay locked on the car but allows the user to change the oreintation of the car in the camera (an Arcball camera).

Assignment MP: Over Hill and Under Hill

In this assignment, Loiue made friends! This team assignment involved the use of 3 heros/vehicles placed in a skybox. Multiple cameras (ArcBall, Free, and POV) were implemented, as shown above. Additionally, a point light was placed in a corner of the world to mimic the purple light from the skybox, and a red spotlight was placed on a bush to make it appear like algae.
