"Ichiban Kasuga"
This is the banner I made for assignment 1. | |
For Assignment 2, I created an interactible animated character to explore a map. The arms and legs move and the head bobs as you travel the world map and go between different screens using WASD.
For Assignment 3, I created a vehicle to steer around a city map. You can use the camera, zoom in/out, accelerate, reverse, and turn
For the midterm project, myself and my two groupmates took our A3 characters and put them together in a scene with character switching, multiple cameras, different lighting sources, a skybox, and more.
For this assignment I created a game where you run around as a stick figure looking character collecting coins while enemies pursue you. It uses particle effects and collisions to make it visually and mechanically interesting.
The final project involved creating a game. You can drive around and collide with buildings and other vehicles. There's also character swapping, a speedometer, cameras to let you look around the world from multiple perspectives, a jump button, and more. There's also a pirate ship flying around along a Bezier Curve for more personality. Creating that was my role on the project, along with creating a pixel shader and a PlayStation 1-style vertex snap shader to create a look for the game more reminiscent of early 3D games.
