Dr. Gonzo

Dr. Gonzo, a hero of gonzo journalism.

Based off of Oscar Zeta Acosta, who went missing in Mazatlán, Mexico, so I decided that is where our hero should be from.

Oscar Zeta Acosta called himself a Brown Buffalo (Autobiography of a Brown Buffalo), so I decided to represent him as a buffalo. For A2 you can control him using WASD or the Arrow Keys, and the Brown Buffalo will go to where you click on the screen.

A moveable vehicle for Dr. Gonzo to use, this is modeled off of the Red Shark, the car used by Dr. Gonzo and Raul Duke.

For the MP project, we implemented a Gouraud shader that has 3 light sources. The left image above has the directional lighting turned off, and showcases the red spotlight and green pointlight that help illuminate the world. To the right you can see Dr. Gonzo visiting Edward Scone, MayZ, and DaBaby. You can also see a first person view from Dr. Gonzo's car.

For A4, I plotted a bezier curve that is centered around the characters from the midterm project.

For the final project we made a sidescrolling game with Blinn-Phong Lighting, billboards, bump-map textures, and other fun goodies!
