This is Shinji Weber walking about spinnin' his beetlewasp-nest card!

A2 - Employee of the Month, was a project in which we were to enable our heros to
move about the screen, interacting with the mouse in different ways and walk around
these beautiful vistas. Shinji here would always be looking at the mouse over his
shoulder and would flip the direction he was spinning his card depending on if the
mouse was clicked.


"SHINJI WEBER'S A3"


This is Shinjimobile!

A3 - The Main Attraction, was a project in which we were to construct a People Mover TM*
that can move about a glorious landscape, filled with all sorts of pine trees (dark green
all the way to light green). Using "w" or "s" will move the People Mover TM* forwards or
backwards respectively. And using "a" or "d" will turn the People Mover TM* left or right
respectively.

This is an image of the feild with a bit of coaster and all four cars visable.

MP - Enter the Park is a program that contains a field with some trees and a coaster on
it. There are four vehicals that are all controlable using WASD, using tab to switch
between them. While driving one of the vehicals, pressing either 1 or 2 will switch what
is desplayed on the small window in the top right corner (1-top down, 2- first person).
Pressing 3 will switch the main camera to a free cam and the small window then shows the
car that was previously being driven. While driving a car, pressing control and then
srolling the mouse wheel will zoom in and out.


"SHINJI WEBER'S A4"


These two images are of the vehical bathing in the each of the point lights.

A4 - Light up the Night is a program that builds on A3 - the main attraction. This
program is fundimentally the same ( same controls and situation ), but the lighting has
changed. Now with a dark ambient light illuminating the ground, two point lights have
appeared to glow apon the hills.


"SHINJI WEBER'S A5"


These two images are of the mascot floating around the vehical with the curve both shown
and not shown.

A5 - Sell Out is a program that builds on the last few labs. This program takes a csv
file that outlines a bezier curve and then uses it to create a path for a mascot to
move around a vehical (the same vehical with the same controls as the last one). While
the ground has shrunk and is no longer hilly, we are no longer in the vast expanse of
space because we now have a sky box.

When one strives for perfection, nothing will be gained but an understanding of what
it means to fall.

A6 - The Fireworks Show: As dusk approches and the twilight fades, the sky morphs from
its staggering brillaince back to a blank canvas. And what should be painted there...
what else could be painted there but our PARTICLE SYSTEMS *airhorn sounds*. Hey there,
I'm Bert Eckles and I hope you enjoy this warm welcome to Bert Eckles' Systems. While all
that was previously in this world (the car, hills, trees, etc) has vanished, what remains
is this rocken particle system that can create any number of fountains, rain, and swarms
of butterflies! Given a file that can initialize these systems, this program can bust
out any of these with ease (it struggles just like the rest of us). The fountains shoot
their load up into the sky where as the rain drizles it down from above (but it could get
caught it some wind). Thats right, a block of wind exists to push your rainy day away ;)
And the butterflies... they follow a boids algorithm to flutter about with their pals in
their safety box. And if your curious about any of these boxes, you can make them visible
just by pressing 'b'. Ain't that neat!!! Well anyway folks, thats all we got for tonight.

A6 - Avoid The Park Mascots: early in the morning, in this apartment complex, busy tenents
are hustling to work. As you happen to catch a few in conversation each complains to you
about the weird and hostile landlord; thats when you notice the shadow lurking in the
corner. You think to yourself, "thats probably them" when your suspision is confirmed as
the tenent tells you to run away and hide. In this game, go around and talk to 8 tenents
and hear their complaints about the creepy landlord with out being caught. Because the
landlord is a terrifying monster that is a danger to you, reality bends around him (as
seen in the second picture) so avoid them at all costs. After talking to 8 tenents, you
can go home and live hopefully.


"THE BLACK HOLE'S FINAL PROJECT"


The black hole both with sucking off and on.

This Final Project is a program that lets you control a black hole and suck in the objects
around you. The hole apears white when all its doing is letting objects orbit it but the
moment you tell it to suck in its surroundings it turns black and the objects caught in
its orbit get pulled and warped into it. You can switch between viewing this impressive
feat of "nature" with an arcbal cam and a freecam.
