"Pat Man"


My first project!


My hero! The functionality of my hero is controlled by 6 keys and the mouse. WASD are used to move. The P key is used to power up (as shown in the picture) and the O key is used to power down. Whenever you click on the background, my hero will point to the cursor. He also will periodically flip his head back and forth.


My hero has a ride! This beauty named the Pat Mobile has the ability to hit Mach 3 in a matter of seconds. Some say it is an urban legend, but I can assure you it exists!


My hero has a ride and now some buddies! For this midterm project, I, along with Toby and Alex implemented a light up world that was very difficult at times, but we finished! This picture shows the arcball and first person view of my hero.


Pat Man's ship got a few updrades. The ship got a brand new customized paint job as well as bigger thrusters to go faster. In addition, the cockpit and body of the ship were made spherical to give some aerodynamic capabilities for atmospheric travel. The wings were also thinned out. (Really the spheres show the light much better than the cube). This picture shows two light overhead and how they reflect off the ship.


This shows the current layout of the lights. Looking at the mountain shows the colors blending and you can see both positions of the lights.


Pat Man's ship has a companion! A satellite constantly orbits along the curve that detects other heros all around the world and allows for better communication.



It's winter time! and the snow is falling! However, the volcano has suddenly started spewing fire! Both of these have been implemented using particle systems.



THE TREES ARE SENDING PROBES! You musr run away and catch the snitch (like Harry Potter) in order to win .



Final submission :( It was a great semester, in this picture the gun animation can be seen in our final project. I had the pleasure of working with Izzy, Logan, and Asa and we created an awesome game that I couldn't be more proud of. I was respnsible for most of the gun creation and animations. The recoil animation is shown here in the world.
