Final Presentation Schedule

Location: See below

Zoom will be used for screen sharing and to bring in any remote clients. Zoom links will be posted on Canvas and on Ed Discussion. Clients will be invited to attend via Zoom (the link will be emailed to them).

There will be two presentation days, 16 groups each day. One will be on Thursday, June 12, one on Friday, June 13. Please see the schedule below; note that you are required to come both days to your same group. That is, if you are in the morning group, you must attend the morning group presenations on both 6/12 and 6/13 (unless you have already talked to your advisor). Same with the afternoon group. You will only be required to give feedback to teams on the day you do NOT present.

Zoom and Audio

As discussed in class, due to a number of students and clients needing to participate via Zoom, all presentations need to be accessible via Zoom. Details:

  • We will run Zoom on the podium computer, unmuted, so that the room mics can pick up your presentation.
  • You should present using a laptop if possible; if you do not have a suitable laptop machine, please contact Prof. Kelly to instead get your presentation on the podium computer before the day of your presentation.
  • From your laptop, join the Zoom room for your group shortly before you present. The Zoom links can be found in Canvas (under the Final Presentation assignment) and will be posted on Ed Discussion as well.
  • Do not plug in to the podium HDMI cable with your laptop; instead, please share your presentation window on Zoom. The podium computer will show the shared screen. You may use the podium mouse to adjust where the camera view window is in Zoom so that it is not obscuring important parts of your slides.
  • Remain muted on your laptop in Zoom to prevent feedback. The room mics should pick up what you say and transmit them through the podium computer.
  • If any part of your presentation includes sound (e.g., a video demonstration with sound), check the box that says "Share sound" when you share your slides. This should permit the sounds to be heard in the room and on Zoom (even though your laptop is otherwise muted).

Additional Information

You are required to attend all presentations in your group (all three days). Business professional dress is required for your presentation day, it would be nice if you could dress in business casual the other day as there will still be many clients visiting (but not required).

Presentations will be evaluated by students as well as the advisors. You will be required to evaluate all presentations on the day you are NOT presenting. You will NOT be required to evaluate the teams on the day you present, unless you would like to. You should be present for all teams except the team immediately before your presentation (you'll skip the team before so that you can set up for your presentation). You may also skip the team after your presentation so you can meet with your client, if they are in attendance.
