CSCI 358: Grading

Grading Rubric

Professor Hua Wang:

1. Homework sets (30%): 6-8 homework sets will be assigned throughout the semester.
2. Midterm (30%): one midterm exam will be at the middle of the semester. The time will be notified by two weeks in advance.
3. Final (40%): the final exam will be scheduled during final exam week as specified by the school.

Professor Dejun Yang:

1. Homework (40%): 9 homework sets will be assinged. The lowest score will be dropped for final grade.
2. Midterms (30%): there will be two midterm exams. The time will be notified by two weeks in advance.
3. Final (30%): the final exam will be scheduled during final exam week as specified by the school.

Your grades will be posted on canvas. If you think the score of your homework/midterm/final is not correct, please appeal it to an instructor within 10 days from when it is posted on canvas. After 10 days, the score will be considered as finalized. An email will be sent through canvas every time a score is formally posted.
