Journalshare is an app that allows users to share their experiences anonymously based on location
JournalShare allows the user to to create new entries and write down their notes, feelings, or deepest secrets. Users then have the option to share a journal entry anonymously with the nearby community. Other users will then be able to read and view this entry if they are within a certain distance of where that entry was shared at.
Here's how it works!
Local and Remote Database Storage - Journalshare makes use of the android devices local storage as well as the Google Firebase Cloud Storage platform to store your journal entries.
Google Maps and Location Services - JournalShare uses Android Location Services and the Google Maps API to provide the user with selection of nearby journal entries and to locate the users for their own entries.
Background Services and Notifications - JournalShare uses Android Background Services to send notifications to the users alerting them to new entries.
