HTML and HTML5
Walk through these
HTML tutorials:

HTML Input Attributes
- Skim all for now, you'll refer back to this info extensively when
creating the form in your program
- HTML5 Intro through
HTML5 Style Guide
- Read HTML5 Info and
HTML5 Semantics
- Skim HTML5 Support and
HTML5 New Elements
- Read and follow HTML5 Style Guide.
Most important guidelines are to
use lower case, include end tags and closing slashes, use whitespace
appropriately (e.g., not around =) and do not omit optional tags.
CSS3
Walk through these
CSS3 tutorials:
- Read CSS3 Introduction
- Skim CSS3 Rounded Corners through
CSS3 Box Sizing
- It's good to have some idea what styling options are available
- Read CSS3 Flexbox
- Skim CSS Templates
- Floats used to be the primary means for doing layouts. More recent options include
Flexbox and CSS Grid. Here are some perspectives on layout options (good to skim):
