CSCI 446 Unit #12
Week 1 - Option 2: Initial Design and Coding
During this week, you will focus on the initial design and coding
the primary screen layouts with hard-coded data. Week 1 is worth
10 points:
- (5) Initial design. Create a document that a) describes your application
- what will be bartered, how it works at a high level, how your new
technology will be used, etc. b) lists the
urls you plan to use, similar to textbook table 4.1, and c) includes your
rubric for 30 points of features (rubric will be reviewed by instructor
and either approved or modifications requested). NOTE: if you have
concerns about your rubric, feel free to email to crader @ mines.edu
ahead of time for approval.
- (5) Include screenshots of your major screens with hard-coded
data (remember the process from the tutorial... you will first design
your screens with hard-coded data, then create the API and connect your
views to the database).
- Combine all of this into one document (pdf strongly preferred) to submit.
There's plenty to do for the final project, so I strongly encourage you
to get as much done as possible this week, even though there aren't that many points.
